Sounded like typical time share call. I travel a ton and am on a lot of frequent guest programs, etc. I get calls from Hilton all the time. This one sounded legit - other than the price seemed too good to be true. And it was. They had me navigate to the web, and the process was exactly the same as Hilton Grand Vacations or something. I used my non-primary credit card due to my suspitions...but I still gave them the number. Duh.
Once I got off the phone, I looked them up on LinkedIn, saw who owned the website and then I realized it was fake. Called credit card company right away to cancel charges and alert to fraud. Should have gone to LinkedIn right away.
Don't fall for this. I looked up company on this site while on the phone and nothing here. So, I bought. Dang. Hope B of A refunds my money and keeps it out of their lousy hands.

Refund Received?

Hi, I had the same problem with them. They sounded legit. On the phone, they told me they were a Florida based company, they gave me the URL and I saw (and they confirmed) that they were affilited with Univeral Orlando Resorts, they also told me they are rated A+ with Better Business bureau. I was skeptical, but I still signed up.
I got nervous about it later, so I looked them up on www.sunbiz.org (Florida business registry). They are not registered on Florida. Then I looked them up on BBB. BBB says they are not accredited. I then called Universal Orlando Resorts. I spoke to a rep there, and at first they told me they were affiliated, then when I gave them the phone number and website I had, they looked it up and said, wait no, we are not affiliated with them. The rep contacted their legal department who is looking into it. In the meanwhile, they suggested I call up the company to get a refund and my bank. I called Universal and they refused to give me a refund becuase the document they emailed me after the charge (I have timestamps to prove it), the document that I did not sign or acknowlege, says "in writing" that the charge is non-refundable. Yes, the document that I received after the transaction. They guy proceeded to argue with me and circled around the questions I asked, calling him on the lies they told me....answering my questions with questions. In the end, he refused to refund me. SO, I called my bank. They are going to dispute the charge, but since I gave them my number, who knows if it will be refunded. I'm so mad right now.
Did BOA ever refund you? This company definitely feels and smells like a scam! Any legitimate company would have just refunded me to avoid negative press.
