Complaint Review: Universal Vacation Resorts - internet
Universal Vacation Resorts Package sold as resort stay AND cruise package - they are unwilling to book either.
Purchased package on Nov 22, 2017 - very nice "salesman" on phone. Good pitch. Explained package included a resort stay in select locations AND a cruise package good for up to 7 nights. After purchasing package I immediately contacted them to book a cruise for our son in May 2018 - assuming we'd have plenty of time to get thru their process.
After calling every week since November 22 (it's now mid-March), I finally got someone today that would give me info to finalize a "paid for" cruise package. The fees they quoted to finalize a cruise exceeded the cost of a cruise booked directly through the cruise line. And this was supposed to be for a cruise package that was included in the price I paid.
Given the extreme lengths they went to in order to avoid my calls and emails; I am firmly convinced they never actually book anything for anyone. They just sell the packages and never deliver. I have requested a credit from my credit card processor.
