Simply put: BUYER BEWARE.  I have excellent credit and I was trying to gain some additional capital to help fund a business I started.  I made the mistake by not doing my research and applied for assistance with Unsecured Solutions, LLC.  I received a call later the same day that I applied and they said they could help.  I was told that their fees would be somewhere aroun $300 as a loan processing fee.  I didn't mind as that seemed like a normal loan processing fee for the amount I was trying to secure.

Very soon after, I was told they found a lender.  I received the lenders application in the email and completed it and sent it back.  I was at work when I signed the USS contract in haste without taking the time to read the fine print.  I received my loan the following week.  The next thing I know, I get a demand for payment for $1600 and change.  In reviewing the contract from USS, it states that I agree to pay 9.9% of the total amount of loan extended to me.

I am an idiot for not reading that fine print, but USS fees are outrageous and unnecessary.  All they basically did was get the application from a lender and pass it along to me.  They dont even represent the lender, or even have a contract with them.  I could have done the same thing myself for nothing if i had just taken the time to do a little research.  Something should be done to outlaw this kind of highway robbery.  I spoke with the lender that had extended me the credit and they said they will no longer do business with USS.  I hope the word will spread and shut these guys down.  It's a very shady practice and they should be ashamed.

I worked for a company that referred clients to this lender.

I would suggest you contact the bank that provided you the loan and ask for a copy of the "application".

It has been exactly 4 years since I worked for the company that provided this lender referral to their clients.  I can only comment on my perception of this lender at that time.  This is how I believe their lending process actually works.

1.  They ask you to complete a loan application.
2.  They apply for loans online on your behalf...as if they are you.
3.  They set up bogus email address so they will be notified that you have been approved or denied for the loan.
4.  You have signed an agreement that they will get 10% of whatever they are able to secure for you.

I would suggest as a start to see if the agreement you signed authorized them to apply for loans on your behalf.  If not, and your completed application does not match the bank application, you may have a legal case to pursue.  I don't believe any company can apply for a loan on the false pretense that they are the applicant.

Also beware of companies that seem to "push" you into using this type of lender finder. There are usually other viable loan resources without these fees, or interest rates. This should be a red flag that the company you are dealing with is not working in your best interest. Best of luck to you.
