I am a first and last time customer of UPack/ ABF. I used them to move my belongings from Memphis to Dallas. Everything went well intially from scheduling, pricing, and communication. Once they had possession of my items, everything went downhill. My mother handled the move on the Memphis end, where I hiried a seperate licenensed moving company. They moved my belongings from the storage unit to the ABF terminal. Once the items were loaded my mother went inside the ABF office terminal to ensure that everything was in order. The employee ensured her that everything was fine and said it fine for her to leave. I called that evening, just on the side of caution, to ensure that everything was fine. The man working the evening shift didn't even bother to take my name or information and just suggested I call back in the morning, like I don't have better things to do than babysit a company who I paid for a service. This all took place on August 9th on a Thursday. I call the local Dallas office on Monday to check to see if my shippment has arrived because I hadn't received any  furtherr information since emails prior to my move day on the 9th of August. I was scheduled to retrieve my belongings on August 14th in Dallas. I asked UPack when scheduling my shippment when should I drop off in Memphis to ensure that I get my furniture on the 14th. They said the 9th because it should get there on the 13th and we can hold it for 2 days for free. 


When I call the Dallas office, they tell me they have no record of receiving my shippment and they have no idea where it is. So natuarally I panick and become frantic as the employee ask me several times am I sure I dropped it off. I then call the 1800 number hoping that they would have more and better information. He tells me the same thing thtey aren't able to locate my belonginsgs and don't have a clue as to where they are or when they might arrive in Dallas. I ask him what can we do about this because I hsve taken off work and scheduled movers to pick-up for tommorrow. I have to be move out of my current location today and into my apartment tommorrow. He provides me with no real solutions ,but that they have until the 15th technically before anything can be done because they are still within their time window. 


I am pissed at this point and demand to speak with the manager, who is not readily accessible and has to call me back. I immediately reach out to the Dallas moving company to see if I can reschedule (yes at a fee) and my boss to see if I can change my off date (yes) . Hours later the manager calls and tells me they have located my trailer in Little Rock and it is scheduled to arrive in Dallas 7 PM on the 13th. This relieves me but now I can't get the day back off, the moving company no longer have a Tuesday slot avaliable and the soonest they can get to me is on Thursday now. So this means I have to sleep on the floor until Thursday at my new apartment. So now i have to reschedule the cable people because I cant hook up the cable without my tvs. My help to has to work on Thursday so I am now stuck doing everything on my own now. I had to get my sick mother out the bed to handle things on the Memphis end to get this resolved. And when i talk to them the best they can do is offer me 100 even though I am out of more than for their screw up, and lets not start on the inconvience caused and high levels of anxiety. I am terribly disappointed with this and deserve a full refund because this whole debacle is because of errors on Upack end, not my own.
