New York Sound, LLC - Updone.com Consumers Beware!!!!!!! You Will Want a Refund When You See the Product But You Won't Get It!!! Peekskill New York

I ordered 2 canvases from updone.com. I waited a month to receive them, and when I finally did, I was shocked at the poor workmanship. I was so distressed that a company could actually package and mail such garbage to a customer. The original pictures I sent in were of great quality, but the canvases I got back were fuzzy and the colors were both running and faded in places.

I contacted the company for a refund. I was told by a lady in customer service that the work was done in China and that the owner would not give me my money back. I use the term "customer service" very loosely here because that is not what I got. The lady on the phone absolutely did not care. She said my only alternative was to take pictures of the canvases and and I would receive exchanges.

I told her I was not interested in exchanges because they had two opportunities to send me quality work and both times had sent out work that was not even fit to be hung on my wall. I asked her what guarantees did I have that I would get better result after waiting another month and she said none because the work was done in China. I told her that I would contact my bank and she said fine. My bank advised me to ship the items back, which I did at great expense.

Here's where the company gets even more slimey. They have reshipped the items back to me using my name and address as the return address. The bank says I have no recourse but to pay to ship it back to them again because I can't have a dispute if I have the items. This back and forth could go on indefinitely and updone.com is hoping that you'll give up because of the expense of reshipping. Something has got to be done to protect consumers from this predatory company!!!!!!!!!!
