THIS IS MY GOD AWEFUL EXPERIENCE WITH THESE USELESS INDIVIDUALS. ALL I NEEDED WAS BUSINESS CARDS AND THEY DID NOTHING BUT CONSISTENTLY SCREW IT UP. SEE IF U CAN TELL WHERE I LOST MY PATIENCE.

ME: elmer said he could fix the issue of the safe line and trimline and he zoomed it to the point it was butched

Marco: So, the black arrow-like design on top will be inside the safe area?
Marco: Or you want it to go way to the edge?
ME: it is a film slate and that should be right against the border of the card
Marco: So it should go up to the edge, right?
ME: yep
Marco: I see. Let me do that for you and lets see if it will work for you.
ME: is it supposed to be on the safeline or trimline? where is the edge
Marco: The edge will be at the outer most part of the bleed.
Marco: If we are going to extend the film slate to the edge, there will be no white lines or spot after it was trimmed.
ME: does this really need to be so difficult ME: so trimline or safeline
Marco: The safe line is the inner most line where all the important elements are being moved. the middle line is the trim. That is the final cut of your business card.
ME: trimline is the final product?
Marco: That is correct.
ME: then i reformatted to the trimline

ME: does the short bus drop off all uprinting employees everyday? Are you messing with me on purpose? how many times and how many people must i tell this to. I already told you that the top part of the slate with the arrows should cover the edge all along the top
ME: this has been one of the most miserable experiences of my life and i am doe being tolerant and nice

Uprint - incompetent, useless fees

I am not connected in any manner with Uprint or any affiliate company. I am a real estate broker/agent in Arkansas. Just explaining my dealings with UPrint.
I mail postcards to landowners of record and solicit their business if they want to sell their real estate. I have bought tens of thousands of postcards from UPrint since 2007.
While the form and layout procedure is an education in itself and is not easy for an old guy to learn, it DOES WORK. There is a long learning curve for an old guy. a Youngster who is quick with computers and devices could probably sail right thru the first time. My first and second layout for a simple postcard probably took a couple of hours each. Ah HA! The old guy got smart and figured it out.
Now layout takes 10 minutes or so for the card. The cards are always delivered exactly as ordered and within three shipping days from the left Coast.
I think the complaint stems mosty from the same confusion I had on my first and second order. I would hope their is a simpler software to layout the cards, but if not, so be it, I will continue to order postcards from UPrint. The only fee I have encountered was shipping.
