I've recently had a shocking experience with US Data Corporation. I can't even call them Scam Artists because there was absolutely no Art involved. It was a downright rip-off. My company has spent $2,000 and NOT received a dime's worth of mailing list.

I got in touch with this most dis-honrable company a month ago. I found them on the web, sent them an email asking for a very specific list of CPG companies over a certain revenue in Europe.

2 weeks later and minus $1,500, I have a list with not one-CPG company with hundreds of webmaster@xyz.com companies. In short, not one single contact I can use.

I politely asked for a refund and got an email back from the sales person saying he was shocked that I would ask for a refund. After a few calls and an email, I was passed over to the "Quality Assurance Administrator". She said she would look in to the matter.

After another few days, I've received communication from the "QUALITY ASSURANCE" person, (I promise you, the only thing they are ensuring is a LAWSUIT) saying that the list was absolutely as per spec. Now, note that not ONE single contact from one single company was even remotely related to Consumer Package Goods - and absolutely NONE of them came even close to the revenue that I asked for. I would know because the biggest consulting comapnies of the world publish reports about this space all the time.

They refuse to give me contact inforamtion for any senior people within the company. I suspect it's a small organization scamming people all the time, so there is no one more senior. They've also made it quite clear they are not prepare to give me a refund, partial refund, or a better list.
