US Freightways everything's wrong with US Freightways Elk Grove, Illinois

 Hi I worked for US Freightways as a driver for a owner operator and i tell what it was the worst decision i've ever made. First they don't give you enough time to make loads on time at least legally and they expect me to pay tolls out my pocket then if i do get reimbursed it takes like 6 weeks sometimes.I've had weeks were i only had one load and sat the rest of the time at a truckstop.

When you do get a load usually it barely enough time to make it there on time legally and they expect you to run illegal to get load on time. As for my pay i've run portland,or to chicago,il to detroit,mi one week and my pay was was less then $200 for that week. Recently had a load from trenton,nj to denver,co to seattle my pay was less then $500. There's nothing i can do about the pay cause i don't get statements or anything and they just don't care. I wish i would have not wasted my time working for this company. So basically it's bad to work for this company as either a owner operator or driver.
