I received a letter today concerning Social Security and Medicare which is indicative of the administration's assumption of the stupidity of the american public.

The letter states that there is no cost of living increase and therefore no adjustment to social security benefits. It then goes on to say that my medicare premium will increase by 14.7% for a cost of living increase, based on my social security benefit, of 1.6%.

Where are the cost of living reductions which offset this cost of living increase? Certainly not in the cost of gasoline which has increased 42.8% over the last 8 months!

This letter was received the same day that I heard of the 2% increase that Obama is giving all government employees.

I don't suppose 3 on your side can do anything about this other than possibly publicize the ripoff of social security benefit recipients.

This is the change that the American People voted for - the trickle up poverty of Obamanomics.
