I waited several weeks and after not hearing from them, I went drove to US Passport office (US Govt). I asked my credit card company AMEX to cancel charge but US Passport Online then claimed I waited more than 30 days. This was after I waited for them to respond all along. It was "their" delay...which jeopardized my trip overseas
