US Vacations scammed me out of $1175 BEWARE!! Largo Florida

First I would like to say I am a disabled Veteran on a fixed income and due to my health and lack of finances this scam seemed to be my dream come true. I received a phone call from a Mark Andrews from US Vacations.. claiming he had 3 people interested in my timeshare property which I can no longer afford nor need. I told him the hardship I was under and he claimed it would be sold within 3 weeks.

I unfortunately believed this man and gave him my credit card number. He claimed he couldn't sell it till he had a signed contract. So we got it overnight. When it came it mentioned nothing of what he claimed on the phone..The contract stated the $1175 I pd was simply for advertizing and that this company doesn't sell the property just hooks up buyers and sellers. I was told he did it all that he was licensed to broker.

Even after I called he swore and Ed Tyler that they handled it all. Now the money is gone and I call to ask why what he claimed wasn't on there. He said it was on the recorded message that you agree at the end. He said to fax the contract back cause he could not sell it till he had that. Then I was to also mail the hard copy. He swore yet again that it would sell as he had a buyer. Each day either I couldn't reach him or I would get another story.

Call back in a few days..Then I would get the deal fell through but I have another buyer..The same thing happened again except this time he claimed she was all oked , her mortgage Co was set. He was just waiting on the papers. Claimed the women was all excited wanted it closed quick.but we had to wait 5 days..5 days go by and you got it..Deal fell through but there was 3 more interested. At this point I asked to talk to someone over his head as I knew at this point I had been scammed.

Well I got the runaround from Ed Tyler too. All the time these men knew I not only couldn't afford nor use the resort because of my health now they have swindled me into a credit card bill I can't pay either. This man promised sold within 3 weeks. I filed with the BBB this site and will file any other one I can find too. They took advantage of my desperate situation and they should not be allowed to do business. They called my PRIVATE phone number and stole money I didn't have selling me a promise ..

Please be warned that they are simply con artists and they don't care what they do as long as they get your money. Once they get that they don't even remember who you are. I unfortunately went to the BBB on them to file a complaint only to find 54 other complaints..
