Usa Card Services ripoff dishonest deceptive liars crooks. Addison Texas

My wife was called in Feb 2005 by USA card services about starting a on-line business. A smooth talking sales rep told my wife they was willing to invest 5,000 into her business with no money up front on her part. My wife who was unemployed was wanting a web site to sell SMC products on. The salesman asked what kind of money she wanted to make monthly? My wife said 3,000 dollars the salesman stated she would exceed that amount by using their services.
My wife being very excited signed a merchant agreement and a 48 month lease with Ladco leasing for a credit card machine. USA stated she would need it for her on-line business and she would make more than enough money to offset the cost of only 96.99 per month for the machine. My wife woked very hard trying to get her business off the ground after 12 months and not making one red cent she finally called it quits she closed her bank account and sent the unused credit card machine back to Ladco.

What my wife got for her money in the 12 months she was in business was a generic unuser friendly web site poor technical support when she did manage to get help USA tried to up sell her into upgrading her website and other services these people did nothing to help get her website going.

Ladco turned my wifes account over to C.C.A. for collections they are asking for 5,031.29 dollars. Now my math may not be good but 96.99x48 months is 4655.52 they show no credit for the 12 months she paid or any amount for the liquidation of the returned credit card machine. After reading the many Ripp-off reports on these people it looks that 5,000 is the going rate for default. I bet C.C.A. has a fill in the blank form for Ladco asking for 5,000 dollars to scare you into a settlement for more money.We will not pay and plan on filing complaints with the Oklahoma Attorney general and Federal agencys on USA/Ladco unfair deceptive business practice.
