I went to college and studied Medical Assisting. So after I finished school, I tried using Usajobs.com to find a new job as a Medical Assistant. This site was not very user friendly. It wasted a lot of my time and I was not very happy with the site at all!

First of all, I typed in: "Medical Assistant, Orlando, FL, no experience, 20 mile radius". You would think that was easy enough to find, right? It sounds like a no brainer to me! However, USAJOBS gave me about 1,000 hits, 99% of them didn't even come close to matching what I was looking for! The site gave me job listings for all Medical jobs located throughout the entire US! It also gave me a few in other countries! Now I had to search through the "junk listings" and find the only five that were any use to me at all! That is, the onyx ones that were Medical Assistant listings.

The rest of the jobs that were listed were for: Doctor, Nurse, EMT, Paramedic, Anesthesiologist, CNA, Manager, Medical Attorney, etc. However, I wasn't looking for any of that stuff, I don't have the training to do any of it! So I called usajobs on the phone to see if they could help out. They told me to type things in differently, put quotes around the search terms and a few other things. I tried all that, but it didn't help much. It still showed jobs that I don't qualify for.

Now, after already wasting a few hours of my life searching through another long list of jobs that didn't even come close to what I was looking for, I read some of the requirements for those few Medical Assisting jobs they listed. The listings were all so long that it literally takes all day to read half of the page!

After what seemed like forever, I got to the end of the listing, everything looked good for me qualifying for the job,I saw hidden in the fine print of the last sentence: Must have 2 years experience!

This left me thinking: What part of, Medical Assistant, No experience, Orlando, FL don't you understand!

This is one of the worst job hunting sites in the world! Monster.com and all the other famous job sites are not any better! I have only found one job on a job website and it wasn't a good job!

Then to top it all off, the site lists jobs from all over the country and anyone who qualifies can apply and each listing gets Ten Million people applying for it the second that it is posted! So your chances of getting a job off that or a similar site, such as Monster.com, are razor thin!

To say the least, I am totally dissatisfied with this site as well as most other, similar job hunt websites! I am just glad I didn't have to throw away any money by paying to use this useless site! However, considering the site is free to use, I guess it's true what they say: You get what you pay for! I paid nothing and that is exactly what I got!
