usajobs Collect personal information Nationwide

I applied for two jobs on usajobs. The first was the veterans administration. The listing stated that they were hiring non veterans so I applied. I had every qualification listed and was still rejected because they were only hiring veterans!  I then applied to department of homeland security. The listing stated it was a deca opening for disabled people. I applied and was rejected because I wasn't qualified. The application had so many requirements I would have had to have a dozen degrees and 50 years experience in 10 different fields. It annoys me that usajobs is collecting so much personal information from people they have no intention of hiring. What are they doing with all this information?
