First they made a quote, then I agreed but never received my envelope, so a month later I requested another and accepted my new reduced quote. 2 months after I first started this, I was finally sending out my phone, well before the offer was to expire.

I waited, over a month, never got any update e-mails like they claim they will send. Now it is over 2 months since I mailed them my phone, and 4 months since I started all this, and still no check or update e-mails.

Customer Service via e-mail is a joke, and there is no true Telephone Customer Service, just a number that has voice message which tells you Thank You, e-mail us, then cuts off and hangs up on you. Complete BS customer service.

However, I did get ahold of them via e-mail. Took several days but finally someone returned an e-mail requesting my 'order' status. They informed me that They had received my phone, but now its worth nothing, even though it met all the criteria for their quote.

All this time, no update e-mails, I was thinking my phone was lost in the mail, but no, they recycled it, 2 months ago, and neglected to tell me anything about receiving it, appraising it, nothing.

Looked into the BBB, and they have a big F, and are no where near accredited with the BBB. Yet, if you go to their website right now, there is a BBB accredited Logo that says they are. If this doesn't say Liars and Scam Artists to you, then what will?

Time for a Class Action Lawsuit, I am currently looking into it. When I e-mailed Usell back, and told them I had a big problem and if this is not corrected I would take further action, Boy did I get a Prompt E-mail, several actually, wanting to call me tomorrow to work this out. I told them to call me now, tomorrow may be too late, if they can e-mail me all morning, they can call me too... then the e-mails stopped... then i got another e-mail stating they were "working from home", and they were "driving when they saw my e-mail", that they were sorry and would now like to call me, and asked for my number.

After researching online I began to realize that all these businesses are linked together, I suspect under one man in particular, but possibly more. Operating under several different titles, they are a scamming machine! International Multi-million dollar scammers! This would have great potential in a class action lawsuit, and I am willing to stand for it. I am tired of slimy ghost corporations like this getting away with screwing people over who were on good faith with these companies. Businesses profit on the lack of consumer will & awareness, people just dont feel its worth the trouble and stress, but if it could save a million headaches and sink a crooked corporation, its worth it!

Researched before buying in to the scam

Reference usell's rebuttal

I seen the adware on tv too, I was very spectacle of it when a company ask you to put items in a bag ship it. That is a red flag right there, people trusted you and you returned back to say something great of your services but you still have the worst reports.

First red flag was “place your item in the bag send it in" expect a check in little as What? NEVER people still never got there return still after 3 months. me id be calling you daily till you refused my help then take you to court. Wait for that little tiny check and the people are probably giving phones worth more then what you offered.

Just so you know I’m going to show you how bad you are. >complaint board >>>  Usell.com Complaints & Reviews - So far not so good (((link redacted)))

USell.com was first submitted to Scambook on Aug 31, 2011. Since then the page has accumulated 11 consumer complaints. (((link redacted)))

A youtube video a mad customer check it out here

And here I know a scammer post winks these are fake post by the company (((link redacted)))

How to tell? to obvious that they ranted so well about the company not one rating was lower than 5 stars and didn’t express one flaw of the services? yeeea ok. It was too clean but someone over toped those good reviews that was fake look here

Far as I’m concerned this is fake reviews (((link redacted)))

You ok now guys I have been online beginning 1998, I know the scams and I know a lier I have been there seen and took bad services down. I'm not one to lie to, I'll dig on a bad service and i'll dig so deep that I’ll have the irs and feds lurking in your life.

Do I need to keep going?

I bet I look in to your services, I bet you don’t have no more than 3 people in turn still bad business if you cannot respond to the need of the customer. You only made it bad for yourself by waiting to looooooooooooong

To get people their money after taking there property and truly broken phones and such can be bought elsewhere so they can be reused by free government cell phone services. You have been tagged and now have a bad reputation because of it.

A bit of a tip make sure you can back your words up before you go waste the money you owe to people and waste it on a tv ad. OVER WHLEMED? REALLY THAT’S THE BEST EXCUSE! That don’t sound too professional, you showed people you can’t handle the incoming items and it is also showing you’re not as big as you make people believe.

uSell Rebuttal

AUTHOR: uSellSocial - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, March 19, 2012

uSell.com was first launched in October of 2010. We are a publicly traded company and through a round of investing, were able to fund a massive TV campaign that was very successful. However, we were overwhelmed by the consumer response and did not have the back-end scalability that would allow us to handle the massive amount of orders. Because of this, we suffered severe customer service issues.

In June of 2011, our board as well as our senior staff decided to take a new direction. Instead of purchasing electronic devices directly from consumers, we have partnered with several of the leading electronics-buying companies in the country to purchase the devices. This guarantees that no single liquidator will be overwhelmed by a high volume of orders, thereby ensuring a satisfactory customer experience.

The majority of complaints date back to transactions that were made prior to June of 2011. Furthermore, please see our BBB rating, we have an A- rating with the BBB. All of the customer issues have been resolved and we are focused on our new business and providing our customers with an easy and secure way of selling their unwanted electronic devices.

We acknowledge that we did make some mistakes in our early days, but we have done and continue to do everything we can to make it right for every customer. If you have an issue with a current transaction, we strongly encourage you to contact us directly at Support@uSell.com.

For anyone who is concerned about uSell's credibility, here is some information about what the majority of our customers experience with our company, as well as links to customer reviews of our partners: http://www.usell.com/blog/usell-university/proof-that-usell-buyers-will-not-scam-you/.

In addition, uSell was recently recommended on the Today Show: http://video.today.msnbc.msn.com/today/46782770#46782770. We hope this information helps to set your mind at ease.
