I just wanted to comment on those two jokers on TV, "Big Mike" and "Jim Peterson."

Their sales pitch for that 1 or 2 hour show is ridiculous!!

They like to "talk down" to their viewers, and they say , "let me be your guide to buying computers."

What a joke!! They are SALESMAN, of course they will say to buy from them!

Man, they say so many misleading things during their show, it's funny. It's like they are talking to 7-year old viewers.

Here are some itemized items about that show presentation.

1. They say there is a 30-day back guarantee from the day you get the computer, but on their v2premier website it says from the invoice date, which is about 10 days before you get the computer. So that amounts to about a 20-day use of the computer, not 30-days.

2. Why do they claim that you cannot go wrong plugging in the cables, when if fact you CAN. Try to plug the mouse connector into the keyboard port and it fits nice and snug! Too bad this won't make your computer work.

3. Why did Jim use to refer to rebates as "junk" and now he's hawking the $50 Lexmark rebate? I thought I was supposed to tell a "consistent" story?

4. Why did Jim say that ShopNBC has never charged for S & H, when if fact, it did for a brief period on the conventional monitor?

5. Why do Jim and Big Mike "talk down" to the viewer, as if they don't know any better. They keep saying things like "you the shopper don't know what to pick at the local computer store, so let me be your buyer." Geez, is the viewer a 7-year old kid?

6. Why does Jim keep saying the computer is 100% upgradable, in the future. What if Intel makes a new CPU that requires a new motherboard? Does replacing a motherboard not mean essentially replacing the computer?

7. Why does Jim say he's an OEM, when in fact, he's only partially one. I mean does he make the modem, printer, speakers, CPU?

They don't mention that "money back guarantee" does not include your shipping cost to send it back to them!

There was one time when they did "live call-ins," and an old woman called and complained that she didn't get help from the tech-support, and they quickly hung up on her and said something like "hang on the line and we'll get someone to help you." What a joke! They cut-her off!Sheez..what a bunch of losers!

I have much more to say, but I'll leave it as-is for now.

If anyone feels any different about my comments above, let me know.

Andrew
