After reading some of the experiences others had with Vacation Choices, I decided to add what our experiences were and how we tried to resolve it. We signed up with Vacation Choices on 04/29/2012 for a fee of # 3,200. For that we were to receive two resot/condo weeks a year plus deeply discounted travel services.

Our experiences were similar to others reporting on this business. Except that it took multiple calls to them even to get a response from reservations and when we tried to use the internet system, it kept screwing up.

It was only after we filed a report with the BBB of Washington and Oregon and initiated a dispute with our VISA card over the charges that we received any type of quote for travel, and when we did get it, it was in fact no cheaper than we could have gotten ourselves.

It was only after VISA indicated that there was nothing they could do that I noted the bait and switch. Apparantly, the contract is for a license to use the website and nothing else in the contract even refers to what was promised during the presentation. The fact that the contract was a purchase of a license was not expalined during the sales portion. If it had been, we would have walked away.

To add insult to injury, we just received a notice of default for $ 495 from them and we have no idea why, especially when the provisinal credit was reversed in their favor.

I have offerd them a settlement to return less than we paid (we told we got a good deal because we were retired military and already owned a timeshare) but they indicate that there is nothing they can do. This is from the same group of people that others have dealth with, Linsay Smith, Nikki Sanbor, etc.

We would be interested to know if  Washington State Attorney General is or has looked at them.
