Received a notice in the mail. Looked like it was from U.S. Airways, stating

"Our Accounting Department shows that you have been awarded TWO ROUND TRIP AIRLINE TICKETS TO ANY MAJOR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ANYWHERE IN THE CONTINENTAL USA. To claim this special gift, simply call 1-888-576-1241, Monday through Sunday 8am-10pm. Flights fill quickly. First to call First to Fly. Reservation Number 86**. Our records also indicate if you respond within 72 hours you will receive a complimentary 7 day Rent-A-Car from Budget."

A fake boarding ticket was attached with the following address on the back: "Vacation Professional 13 Branch Street, Methuen, MA 01844

What bothers me is how they make the notice uses the US Airways logo and symbol, making it appear the letter is from US Airways. I suspected a scam (& indeed looked online & found a few complaints about them) but it would be quite easy for someone to think they're actually getting tickets from US Airways. Don't bother calling them until you read the reports by people who have been ripped off by them! Also known as VIP Travel, and Travel to Go (www.traveltogo.com)
