Valley Plumbing was called out to offer a quote on a very simple installation. On Valley Plumbings very own website, they advertise to contact them for a FREE ESTIMATE (Photos provided). The job that Valley Plumbing was called out to provide the estiamte for was quoted at $140.00 by another licensed plumber, and the quote that Valley Plumbing provided was over $800.00 for the same job. Because we did our research and did not wish to go with Valley Plumbings highly inflated quote, they then try to charge us $85.00 just for the estimate, which they advertise is free on their website. This is extremely deceptive tactic, as on the intiial phone call,  they simply explain that service is billed on a flat $85.00 per hour. Valley Plumbing do not clearly explain that they would actually be charing for a simple estimate, which is the complete opposite of what they advertise on their website, if the work was refused. 

Valley Plumbing is now threatening to file a mechanics lean on the property since we refused to pay the $85.00 charge for hte estimate, and has now magically added another $100.00 to the $85.00 charge they are trying to collect for a simple estimate. Valley Plumbing is  aggressive and harrassing in trying to collect this ridiculous fee. The company has made multip-le threats via email and phone call, and went so far as to have one of the female employees call from a private number, pretending to be a propety manager, and threaten to "DEMO" the property if the fee was not paid. This lady also threatened to have the sheriffs department called out to collect. (absolutely insane). 

Whats more is, the estimate they are trying to charge for, which again is completely opposuite of the "FREE ESTIMATE" they advertise on their website, was never even provided. Valley plumbing never sent a quote detailing the work, explinaining thje labor or materials, nothing. And they are STILL trying to charge for it. 

If you decide to ignore this warnings and multiple other negative reviews on Valley Plumbing, be prepared for: 

1. A massively inflated quote

2. Sub-standard work if above inflated quote is accepted, leading to additional expenses. (according to numerous other reviews) 

3. An $85.00 fee if you refuse the massively inflated quote, followed by days of harrasing emails and phone calls. 

To Valley Plumbing, I hope you can clean up your act. Taking advantage of potential customers is no way to run a fair and reputable business. Highly disgusting. 

Luckily for everyone involved, we had no lease or contract with the property manager, and the property manager had no knowledge that any contractor was being called out to perform any work, and since no work was actually performed, they will be unable to file a this illegal mechanics lean they are threatening us with against the property owners.
