Anyone that is thinking of buying a puppy from Vanity Pups in Bayside, NY please beware. The owner has the gift of gab but his lines are all nonsense. We bought a french bulldog pup for $2200, which we took to the vet the next day and we were told the puppy had parasites. After ready the contract better, we were never told the pup was given medicine for parasites in the past, because she had them the whole time. In the store the pup was left in the crib bouncing up and down playing in their own poop. We had to give the pup away because she was getting worse and with our hours, the bad habit she had from the store of eating her poop(because she was malnurished) she kept infecting herself with the parasites. We also received ACA papers from the vets, which we called the breeders 5 times and left messages but no one ever called us back. Dont bother with this place, you will be disappointed, the owner even offered us half our money back after the end of the contract expiration because I said I would report him. He can keep his money.

Not to mention a Frenchie in particular. The above stated was correct, the whole eating poo thing and nutrition is a myth, they just don't happen to be too discriminating, lol. And, Frenchie's happen to be a breed whom is known for loving poo. There are some things you can add to try to make it taste bad, but they don't always work.

As well as humans...Puppies are given dewormer several times and dogs should be dewormed once a month. They can get them anywhere, even from you.
I do not understand why you bought from a pet shop for one (you just supported a puppy mill), and why would you buy a puppy that was in it's own poo and filth? No red flags when you saw that??
Now for poop eating, look it up on google. A LOT of puppies and dogs do this and it has absolutely nothing to do with not being fed..They eat it because they like it..Like I said, do a google search!
And lastly, why the heck did you refuse his partial refund??? You are all upset cus it had some parasites and he offered you money back, isn't that winning? No pet store ever does that...You should of taken it, now IMO you have no right to whine!
