Vehicle Loan Mod Richard Davis Makes promises, takes your money, leaves you with nothing! Sacremento, California

I too, fell for this scam. If you receive a phone call from a 'Richard Davis' claiming to be from a 'company' called Vehicle Loan Mod, hang up. He gives you all the reasons you should sign up with him to lower your car payments, but in the end, he takes your money and doesn't do anything about it. If you "tweet" at all, he does too, through the name Vehicle Loan Mod and tries to get people that way too. Website is www.vehicleloanmod.com if you want to take a look as well.

A couple of weeks ago I received a call from 'Richard'. I am struggling to make my car payments because I am recently separated from my husband and he has decided he doesn't need to pay child support. Richard stated he can get my payment reduced anywhere from 30-40% lower than what I am currently paying. The "one-time" cost for going through their company was $299. He needed my information, the money and then he would have his 'processing department' fax over the documents to my bank. Well, low and behold, my bank hasn't received anything from Vehicle Loan Mod. I have tried calling Richard but I get his voicemail. I am now two car payments behind and will be getting a repo letter from my bank any day now. I have filed a complaint with the BBB in Northeast California, in hopes they can get some reaction out of Richard and I can get my money back. I know people are going to say I am stupid for doing this, but when you are desperate for help and have children to feed, you take chances.
