I just wrote a complaint on behalf of myself being ripped off by Jim Ellis and his company. I would now like to share a story with you on what he did to our Nanny!(I'll call her "Jane",not real name)

Jane also signed an agreement in October for 30 machines to be placed and paid the standard $750 up fron via wire transfer. She spent her savings BUYING the machines from Vendstar in hopes to make some extra income to pay her mortgage when her older daughter moves out in June 06.

She trusted and relied on Vending Dreams to come through, as did we all. She got the same run around as us, but lo and behold, a locator actually showed up in Phoenix and "found" 30 locations! SOunds like a great story with a happy ending...WELL read on!

The locator presented "Jane" with 30 peices of paper with business cards attached and DEMANDED payment. She did not give Jane the time to check out and tour the placements. She said everything is ok and if Jane had any probelms, the locator would come back and help...so Jane paid her the 50% balance in CASH!

Well, you all know where I am going with this. When Jane tried to place her machines, over half of the people said "no" and the other 50% of the locations were horrible...SOOOO, Jane has tried contacting the locator and she gets ignored. She called Vending Dreams and spoke to ASHLEY FERGUSON and she said "sorry-if you paid her there is nothing we can do to help you". Real nice huh!!

Now, my poor nanny is stuck with machines again, she doesn't speak english that well and may now have to rent her house and move into a cheaper apartment with her youngest daughter!! She just can't beleive stuff like this can happen in United States "the land of opportunity". She see's stuff like this all the time in Mexico, but thought US citizens were better than that! Jim Elis gives us American business people a BAD NAME!!

Vending Dreams and Jim Ellis has ruined her life and her financial plans. I don't know how people like Jim, Susan, Steven and Ashley can sleep at night doing this to people. I suppose they are living the high life up in Oblong, IL using other peoples hard earned money.

I am so disgusted and saddened by what they have done to "Jane", that I have made it a point to get restitution and persue legal actions for her, myself and others. I will do what it takes!

I just finished sending my complaints to the FTC, Consumer Affairs and the Attorney general. I urge all of you to take the time to do this and bring Jim and the other crooks DOWN!!!

As this website states, Don't Let them get away with it...fight for yourself, you deserve it! No One deserves to be walked on or stolen from.

Michelle:

As far as the AG's office yes get on them and who the person is I want to talk to you. If there is a case with this company I want to know. Look me up on Wanderful in the Phila area. That is my vending name. This company won't return my emails so they are up to something. I will expose this company at the end of the year. They will be embarassed.
Trust me you don't give me references I will get these people back. I am locating myself and it gets easier.

Blow the Whistle

AUTHOR: Michelle - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 14, 2006

I appreciate the apology, but it doese not solve the problem.

Ashley-I urge you to "blow the whistle" on this company.I have seen other ex-employees on here as well that didn't get their paychecks either.
You and your friend are protected by law if you report this company. You can do it anonimously!
What they do to customers and not following up with service is ILLEGAL!! Think of what they did to me, my nanny, the poor grandmother that lost her life savings and has to work for 6 bucks and hour to take care of her infant grandchild and everyone else that has victimized by Vending Dreams.

I have reported Vending Dreams to the FTC and the Attorney General of AZ AND I have alerted the IRS regarding their CASH ONLY dealings w/o delivering service. I am also filing legal documents. This is far from over and they messed with the wrong person!

You can help put a stop to this and you have the inside scoop.

Do the right thing Ashley and redeem yourself. I know you don't want to "waste your breath", but is it really wasting anything trying to get justice.

It wasn't me!!!

AUTHOR: Ashley - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 14, 2006

Hello, I wanted to let you know that it wasn't me! I am no longer with Vending Dreams. I was just an employee unfortunately following instructions given to me. One of my family members noticed that my name, and brought it to my attention. Don't worry, I got ripped off too, a payroll check.....that will really help, considering I just purchased a new home in November....might have to file unemployment if I don't find another job first. Just wanted to apologize to you michelle, and wanted you to know that I didn't really have anything to do with what happened with you. I was only doing my horrible job. It wasn't just me either...another employee, and my dear friend Staci did not recieve her payroll as well..... After much debate, we have decided to cut our losses, and not even waste our breath!!!

Again.....I am truly sorry for what

Your not getting that money back. They could have done anything with it and they have to have some kind of proof. They are the scam artists of this business.

You should have never signed the contract. The machines are easy to place just have to have a rhythm and groove to do it or your not going to be successful at it.

Legal Docs sent-case follow up

AUTHOR: Michelle - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, January 07, 2006

OK-Got the letter from my lawyer today!! Legal documents HAVE been sent to Jim Ellis..

Although this fight may cost me a little money at first, I don't care. At this point, this is a matter of prinicipal.

If my money is not refunded, I will be taking them to court, mark my words. I am not messing around. It's truly not about the money anymore.

This lawsuit may cost me more than the $1,300 dollars I want refunded, but seeing a scum bag theif go down...it's priceless! The cost upfront is a tax write off for me!! Besides, when you win a lawsuit, the defendant has to pay YOUR legal fee's plus the refund, plus HIS legal fee's!!! All this for $1,300, Jim is not that business savvy..obvioulsy!

Please check back often and I will update the legal status(when apppropriate & legal). I am fortunate enough to be a business owner and have the means to do this not only for myself, but for my nanny "Jane" and the rest of you out there that have been screwed!

OH, I also have info on how to start a class action lawsuit. I am going to be meeting with my attorney to see if he would take on the case!!! Once he agree's, I will follow RIPOFFReport.COM's protocol on starting the suit and contacing anyone that has a complaint.

Don't give up!

$15000,00 down the toilet...

AUTHOR: Leasa - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, January 07, 2006

This is pretty much the same sittuation we had to and still are dealing with.

We contacted the Attourny General of Il. and the B.B.B. They pretty much left us on the line too.

Maybe it's Just the state of Il. Well lets boycot the whole state!!

O.K. that's not going to happen, since there is no way for us all with complaints to contact one another.

My wife & I are hoping a good lawer will catch wind of this and maybe we can get a class action suit against them.

There has got to be a way to stop this kind of dream wrecking, financial theivery from happening.

I have the contract in front of me.

The contracts from all these locating companies are all the same basically sometimes with different wording.

The contract basically states that the work shall be completed in a timely fashion. Well from what I hear from people on here its not true.

One other thing I emailed the attorney generals office about the company and hopefully get an answer back shortly.
