Having fullfilled the terms of my contract with Verizon Wireless I called and had them deactivate my account.

I kept checking about a week after, by turning on the phone to see if it was active. I had to call them again three more times within a three to four month time frame and they finally "remembered" that I had requested the deactivation. Only after they had charged an additional $140 to my account.

I told them that they were not going to cheat me that way since it was thier fault but they sent me into collections and marred my credit. Now I am being hounded by Allied Interstate.
