Viacom Lori Edwards Voice-Over Scam New York New York

I was on 86th and 5th and a very nice man asked me for directions to Fairway which I provided, I was in a rush and running late for work. He then told me I had a great voice and started telling me about what he does for work (works for Viacom, Nickelodeon, contracts with TBS/ESPN) telling me that I could make a lot of money on weekends doing voice-overs. He asked if I could sit with him, he genuinely seemed nice and legitimate and I wasn't really paying as much attention. He did not make me feel uncomfortable. He put me on the phone with a producer and told me he was going to get me tickets to Newsies. He said all I needed to do is pay $380 upfront which was half the cost and then I would be sent a media kit. I gave him the $380. Now after doing more reserach I know this is a scam (and feel stupid, since most people did not even give him the full amount). Be very careful, he is very genuine and smart and definitely was easy to put down your defenses around him.
