Viagogo.com viagogo.co.uk An online sport and music ticket site that is a scam and does not live up to published guarantee!! Internet

Viagogo.com or Viagogo.co.uk is a seemingly genuine web site that purports to make available tickets to sporting events, concerts, etc.  They include a Guarantee in bold on their site.

I used the site to buy some Australian Open tennis tickets, and I got an email from customer service claiming that the transaction was complete and my tickets were at Will Call.

When I arrived at the match, because my confirmation had only a section number, and not a row and seat number, there was no way the venue could cancel the missing tickets (which had NOT been left there) and reissue them, so we were out $1500 and out of luck!!

I had an email response on the day (they have no phone numbers) after I complained, but after that they no longer replied to my repeated complaint messages.  The whole thing was a scam.

Beware and don't use Viagogo sites!!
