Vinted.com mobile app Vinted.com stole my money and my clothes Internet

In April 2014, I joined Vinted.com by downloading the app onto my mobile phone and creating an account. Vinted.com is an app where women come together to sell shoes, clothes, and accessories. I posted over 87 items for sale.

On May 22, 2014, I had an available balance of $18.97 and a pending balance of $89.91 from clothing I had sold and shipped out. On another clothes selling app, Poshmark, you are able to use your earned balance towards purchasing other sellers' items for sale. Not on Vinted. In oder to get your money, you need to give a load of personal information (social security number???!) to even access your money.

On May 22, 2014, my account got blocked for two years on the Vinted.com app and on the web site. This was after I posted that in order to get my money from items sold, I had to provide Vinted.com with the folliwng information:

• My complete name
• My date of birth
• My address
• My phone number
• My social security number
• My bank account routing number
• My bank account number

Are you getting the picture now? Something just felt off. I never had to provide this much information to PayPal, Amazon.com, nor Poshmark app.

I commented in the forums that in order to get money I've earned from clothes sold I had to provide pretty much all the information that an identity thief needed to drain my personal bank account and also they had all the information that ID theives needed to open new accounts in my name.

I also stated that their excuse that they could not develop a way for you to use your balance from your sales towards new purchases is utter BS. About an hour later, I got banned and blocked until 5/21/16. TWO YEARS.

And my $108.88 I earned from items I sold and had shipped out to buyers? THEY KEPT ALL MY EARNINGS. ILLEGALLY  Vinted.com still has my money. I currently have clothing I sold out in the mail and I will never GET MY MONEY. VINTED.COM IS THE BIGGEST SCAM. Do not download their app. Do not sell anything on their site. And for the love of god, do not provide them with any of your personal information.
