After receiving a postcard inviting us to attend a seminar, we called the phone number & made a reservation for 12-06-07 @ 5:45PM. I told the agent that my husband had to work at 10PM & we would have to leave by 8:45PM at the latest. She assured us that would be NO Problem.
When we attended the seminar at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel and registered (again we related that my husband had to go to work at 10PM & we would need to leave no later than 8:45pm.) A young man named J.J. told us there was NO WAY we would be done in time! He asked what kind of work my husband did & he was told Jesse was a FL. State Trooper. He gave us a Photocopy of the activation form & told us he had run out of originals - because it had been so busy. He also gave us a rental car for one week-form. If we could attend a meeting at a later date, that he would give us another pair of tickets. We agreed to return another time, which we did on 12-11-07.

At that time we sat through the seminar & even though we did NOT join their Travel Club, we did receive (an original) activation form for another pair of tickets & also a rental car for 1 week. As per the instructions the forms were filled out in due time. I enclosed a Domestic Money Order for $175.00 as requested. The forms were photocopied, mailed & Certified, Return Receipt Requested (& Received). I have all of these forms in my possession.

The first request was refused because of Spring Break Blackout. The second time due to our location. I & my husband have left numerous messages & not had any return calls. I left a message on 05-20-08 on J.J.'s cell phone number he wrote on one of the forms:931-492-2234, also no return call. I have NOT YET asked for my money back. I shall wait to hear from you.

I don't know who Jesse is, but I do know he has NOTHING to do with your travel certificates, other than he probably worked for the people who bought them and gave them to you, so he would have no reason to return your calls as he would not be able to help you with your travel. You would have needed to contact VIP Travel, 386-252-2332 opt. 6.

Yes, the certificate very clearly states "This offer is not available Spring Break... and June, July, August for all states as this is peek season." the dates you gave us 3/21 - 29 (the week before easter) and 6/19-28 (the first week school gets out). The form also clearly states you MUST travel TO and FROM a major airport which you requested Pensacola and Norfolk, both according to IATA and the US Government do NOT have major airports by any means (we use www.nationsonline.org).

So yes your travel was not available, mainly due to the rules are the rules because that's how they work, and had they been followed you would have found MUCH better availability. As for your refund, your certificate did expire 1/11/09 and you would need to request that.

While I do sincerely appologize for any misunderstanding, it does always prove better results if you contact the company responsible, rather than a third party or an online complaint board. We unfortunatly had no idea of the trouble you were having until now.

Thank you,

Kim with VIP Travel
