Visamasterpay.com cawords.com sells counterfeit software, visamasterpay.com processes their credit transactions Beijing, China Internet

I contacted visamasterpay.com, which acts as the "third party payment processor", and purports that this arrangement enhances your security.  Wrong.  They have NO interest in making things right.  Here's the scam:  They're in China. They charge your card. They ship from China via registered mail at low (subsidized) rates so that they have proof of delivery.   At this point, they have your money, and have your signature on a receipt that shows you got the product they shipped.  Even if it's a brick, the contracts credit card companies live by says that you bought a product, it's been delivered, so the onus is now squarely on you to fix the problem.

You are stuck with fighting with your credit card issuer in order to reverse the charge, and you to win with your card processor, you must do two things: 1) provide proof that the item shipped is not as described (e.g., counterfeit) AND 2) provide proof that the item has been returned to, and actually RECEIVED, by the seller.  

This means that you're good and stuck.  In order to return something to China, that means a minimum of $16 for registered, return receipt mail - even if it's just a letter.  Then there's the problem that you will probably be violating US Federal law (the Digital Millennium Copyright Act or DMCA) by knowingly shipping counterfeit software out of the country.  Also, in order to get a certification that the product is counterfeit, the real manufacturer will want to see and examine it - and they're NOT going to give it back to you, so if you want the "counterfeit" letter, you won't have the software to ship back to China.    It's a really good scam.

Bottom line:  cawords.com sells counterfeits.  visamasterpay.com is a knowing accomplice to not only cawords.com, but to other sites that very likely behave in the same fashion.  Deal with them at your peril.  You will most likely lose both time and money in dealing with them.
