We used this company for over a year. Last year they forced us to change over to credit card only. This was not a big deal, but then they stopped sending us an invoice and billing our credit card blindly. Every time we call for a bill, they would keep us on hold for 20 to 30 minutes before someone would help us. There customer service people treated us like we were a bunch of idiots and talked down to us every time we asked about our bill not being sent. They keep saying we must have them on spam block, but we don't use spam filters.

Every month we have to go through this. Then they cut our phone off for no reason. It took an hour to get through to them last time. They said that their system failed to bill our credit card and it automatically cut our phone off. They made the mistake, and we loose our phone service because they are too incompetent to run our credit card. And then they had to nerve to try and charge us a reconnection fee. I hit the roof and they waved it.

The following month, our card expired. Ok, this was our fault. But do you think they care about you keeping your phone service active with them? I don't think so. Instead of giving us a Friendly call or reminder, they just cut our phone off.

This time, they charged us for the service and a reconnection fee. There service is cheap, but they more than cost us in lost business with no phone service.

I noticed another post here that showed how to file a complaint with the FCC. We are going to try that route. I would also suggest that anyone else here write a review at VoipReview.org. There are some bogus positive reviews in there on top of really bad reviews. Most of the bad reviews suspect that Vocalocity is writing positive reviews to burry the bad ones.

They have a page for Vocalocity to rate there service. This is another powerful way to voice your thoughts.

We began the process of porting our number away two months ago. This has not turned out to be easy at all. They don't want our business, but they also won't help us in getting ported away to another provider. Someone told me that they are required by law to provide us with an invoice that has our phone number listed, but we never get phone bills with our number on them.

Does anyone else have any ideas on how to deal with this?
