I am having the same problems with vonage like with everyone else, I decided to give vonage a try 12/2007. I decided I didn't want vonage I tried to cancel within the 60 days.
Vonage caused problems with my bank account when they took out the montly payment, vonage caused $190 in overdraft fees which I had to pay. Vonage wanted me to pay a $39.00 disconnection fee, I refused to let them do this.
I told them I had no money in my bank account after they charged the monthly fee & caused things to bounce in my checking account, & caused $190 in over draft fees.
I have filed a complaint the the new jersey attorney general, know vonage claims they can't find my account, the attorney general office of consumer protection told me to contact vonage.
I contacted vonage & gave them my account #, all they did was give me a hardtime all I asked was to refund my money to cancel but they refused to even do that.
Also they acted like they couldn't here me while I was talking to them, playing games. I just told the attorney general office of consumer protection vonage still refuses to refund my money.

Collection agencie told me I needed to resolve this with vonage. Why should I resolve anything they wouldn't work with me or give me my money back they stole from my checking account.
Then they had the nerve to send It to collection. Vonage caused me $190 In over draft fees.
Then the stupid collection told me I needed to resolve this with vonaga HA!.
They make me laugh!. Penn foster Is the collection agencie who handles collections for vonage!. Vonage ain't nothing but theives. They they try to extort more money from you.
I never did use there service I am happy with my current phone company & internet service provider. I am not resolving anything with vonage!.
They do this to alot of people. I will not allow another company to steal from me like vonage did & get me introuble with my bank!. There collection agencie penn foster Is a load of laughs.
I can't stop laughing them telling me I needed to resolve this.

After 5 months of trying to get me my money back, vonage had the nerve to send this to collections trying to collect $180 from me.
Vonage ripped me of know they accept me to pay them $180, its alright for them to take money from you but then they have the nerve to send your account to collections.
Well I am not paying It I have already complained to the collection agencie about the problem I am having with vonage they stole money from me & caused me almost $200 non sufficent fees to occur.
I am not paying vonage jack. Vonage will do anything to try & screw people over & then trying to ruin there credit.
