Vontage.com Vontage Phone Service vontage liers, deceptive,dishonest just another of many consumer ripoff scam company's, what are we going to do about it? I am sooooo tired. Lakewood New Jersey

I contacted Vontage thinking I would save 60.00 a mounth on our phone bill, not so. A vontage rep. who could bearly speak english informed me that my satelite internet would be compatable with their vontage phone service, and requested my Phone # from my local & long distance provider, charged me an activation fee of 29.99 14.00 for shiping of the connection device which I was informed by the rep. that the shipping fee would be waived and would only be charged 9.99 for their device, not true, I was charged the 14.99 shipping. After receiving the device and trying to connect it became very clear that vontage was not compatable with my satelite provider as Iwas told. I then tried to cancel service with vontage and get my phone # back from vontage and back to my previous provider,impossible. I started at 8am and was still on the phone with vontage at 1:30 pm needless to say using minutes on my cell phone because I had no home phone service at 8am that morning, vontage had informed me that their would be no disruption of phone service, also not true. at day's end I still have no phone service and will net have service for approx. 10 day's they are charging me a disconnection fee of $34.00 + 29.99 activation fee $14.00 shipping fee a $9.99 divice fee and also informed me that I have to send the device back to them at my expense, I have no Phone service and spent an entire day using my cell phone min's to deal with vontage. I don't know about you, but I am pissed off, It's no wonder people take the law into their own hand's. I am sooo tired of being scamed by these company's, something has to be done, NOW help Karen
