After numerous discussions, it took me 6 tries to refinance, each time they told me they either lost my application or never got it! Finally one department tells me I was declined and another department tells me I got my refinancing. I did call telling them my work was slow and I would send at least half payments for now. They were o.k. with that. Wrong! We did fall behind 2 months and called for help. All we are getting is harrasing phone calls, the wife was threatened and made her cry and now they are threatening with reposs..They also took a payment out of our checking account without approval! They got the information of our checks that we sent in for monthly payment! I must pay $30.00 for a 6 mo. period at my bank so Wachovia Dealer Services doesn't take another payment illegally!! I didn't even pick Wachovia for my vehicle financing, the dealership did. Wachovia is only good for harrasing phone calls, threatening vulnerable people and attempting repossession. I will never deal with them again and I will never recommend them. I would sooner do without!

What?

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

Once again the automatic...you must work for them.

As to the OP, it is not a threat about Reposession. If you fall behind they have the legal right to Reposess your vehicle. And before anyone goes off on "I must work for Wachovia", I don't(or any other bank).

This is how every other lender will work, if you can't pay(they don't care about the reason) they will reposess your car. There is no law that says they must refianance you. Just in your case, your work slowed down so you fell behind. What happens if they refinance you and in 3 months you get laid off and fall behind again? Do you expect them to refiance you again? Just how much time should they give you? There is no law that says a lender has to work with you to what you "can" pay. In fact it is quite the opposite. When you got the car you made a LEGAL agreement to pay back a certain amount of money each month. In that agreement if you didn't pay, you gave them the right to reposess the car.

"I didn't even pick Wachovia for my vehicle financing, the dealership did."
- They may have picked them but they picked them for a reason. They were probably the only company who would approve your application. If you didn't want them you were more than welcome to attempt to get financing on your own. But if you think any other lender would be different..you would be wrong.

You must work for WFS....with that comment!!!! Or maybe that's how you make your money too...by harrassing people and giving them a hard time. You should put yourself in other people shoe's before you make a comment like that. JUST COLD!!!!
