I created an overdraft in my checking account, fine,I'll pay the overdraft fee, what I will not pay is all the other overdrafts created by Wachovia just to make a buck, these over drafts are created by wachovia changing the order in which a customers debit charges or written checks comes into the the bank, they will place the overdraft payment as being the first transaction which will cause a domino effect, creating more than one overdraft payment, these are the same people that cause the economy to collapse and we are suppose to believe they have our best interest at heart, when you call these people to complain they themselves cannot explain this crap, the banks are going to make their money on the backs of poor folks plain and simple,Bank of America does the same practice, they was just fine 33m for lying to their shareholders, how do you think they plan on getting that money back, something has to be done about this.

Unforutnatley Big James - the process is legal
AUTHOR: Jim - (U.S.A.)

Big James, the process of resorting transactions is in the account agreement you signed with the bank. So far, the courts have found the process as legal.
The best advice one can provide is the following:
1. Stop using debit cards - they will make a mess of things for you.
2. Start using a check register and take action based on the baance in it.
Banks did not cause the economy to collapse - that would be our politicians in Washington DC that did that. You of all people (given where you live) should know that above everything else!!!!
