I have been doing a few assignments for the translator agency "Wagner Consulting International". I did them in August/September of this year and sent them an invoice an the end of September. 

They told me, they would pay me by the end of October. After not getting my money, I asked their finance department, but didn't get an answer. I then contacted one of the managers called Gino who told me, he will check for me. A few days later they send me about 25% of what they owed me. 

Naturally I asked them where the rest was and they told me they needed to wait until they get paid by their clients to pay me. Which frankly is ridiculous. I got hired by them and have an agreement with them. So I inquired about the money again and asked for an update. I never received an answer. I asked again on Monday this week and got the answer "I will check".

I told them to send the rest of my money as soon as possible and did not get another response. So right now I am under the assumption that they are trying to get out of paying.

 I'm a contractor for this firm myself! The statements made here seem to be not corresponding to my experience and I believe these are not true! The firm has special divisions for every step, from vendor management, project management to accounts payable to name a few! They seem to be growing a lot but never lost the connection to their freelancers! All divisions are friendly and communicative! Some new Project Managers are still newbies and sometimes need some follow ups, but their supervisors control them well and train them good! Everything the newbies can't sort out, can be easily discussed with them! Also their head of Vendor Management is such a nice lady and always around if questions occur that correspond to administrative matters and their accounts payable manager is such a lovely lady too! I will continue to enjoy working with them!

Hi there,

while working for this agency I can only tell of postiive impressions. To the poster I would suggest to communicate with the firm, rather than publishing online. I find it rather strange to publish names and confidential details and then not updating about the case here then. Also - you seem to have received payments before, so there is communication, why would you post then something like that here, pointing out this firm is not paying. I´ve been working with the firm for quite some time, got payments on time and like working with them. They have grown a lot since I started out with them, but never let me down, neither financially nor when it comes to questions, communication or whater. Great firm if you are a professional person, if not, well then you shouldnt work for them or consider being full time employed locally.
