Okay I was an employee at Wal-mart. I got fired because they said I stole $30 worth of gift cards. I went to court and I even paid my restitution fees back. I am not allowed at Wal-Mart stores until further notice. My paycheck was supposed to get mailed out on December 29th, 2005. I even called them on that day and they told me they were mailing it out that day. Today is January 7th, 2006 and I still haven't recieved my paycheck. I really don't know what to do. I even called back a couple days after the 29th and they told me all paychecks were mailed out.

So.....let me get this straight. You stole from them and that's OK. However, when you think they've stolen from you, it's not OK? How can you justify this to yourself? Maybe you should be mad at your mail carrier. May he/she stole your check from you! You may not belive in "What comes around, goes around", but you're living it!!!

Apparently the judge thought that WalMart had plenty of evidence against you to make you pay restitution. They most likely are withholding your paycheck as partial payment of the costs associated in prosecuting you for theft. Do something unethical or dishonest, it will bite you in the rear. Lesson learned.
If you were innocent of the charges and could prove it, then the judge would have found in your favor. People who are innocent do not pay restitution. Guilty people do. I see no rip off here. Apparently the judge thought you were trying to rip off WalMart, and gave justice as he or she saw fit.
