If anyone uses the Walmart family mobile system, CANCEL your service to avoid the nightmare I am going through. I bought my 15 year old daughter a month to month phone and she barely kept her privileges in place long enough for her to make a tragic mistake. I took her phone from her in October and went online to cancel her service and thought that was the end of it. Late December I received a bill for $93+ the bill was going to collections. All access to the family mobile ...service is automated, so no store help was available (trust me, I tried, 2 different stores). 3 different support numbers would not let me through to a live person. I had to pay the $93 (to get past the automated service and get to a support desk) to explain my dilemma to a rep (her name was Mary), who talked in circles about how I didn't go through the proper steps to cancel the phone. Now, $93 in, the phone is going to be shut off, but I am being prorated ANOTHER week of service, which will go to collections if I don't pay THAT bill when it comes in. AVOID WALMART PHONE SERVICES! I cannot stress enough how painful these people are (they are supported by T-Mobile (which by the way, directed me back to the support numbers provided by Walmart and absolutely would not help with the issue.)
