These spam calls come from at least 7 phished phone numbers in the US. Apparently they phish a group of phone numbers and spam you days at a time. The recorded message calls at least 3 times per day and different times.

After the rush of spam calls, they don't call. I assume they are phishing more phone numbers.

I've called all 7 of the phone numbers I got from my caller ID and none are in service.

There are numerous complaints about these spam calls from all over the US.

You can see some of them in www.whocalled.us under Warranty Activation Center.

I have no idea which agency of the government to call and lodge a complaint.

But this is a real pain in a*s!

I have been tracking this for 2 months now.

#2 Consumer Suggestion

The FTC

If your number is on the do-not-call registry then you should file a complaint with the FTC on their website. They will only take action when they get lots of complaints about the same company.

If your number is not registered then you have no recourse. Unfortunately there is no law against annoying marketing calls.

Since they are spoofing their caller-id data (not "phishing") they are probably scammers which might make the FTC slightly more interested.
