Wawadigital.net Ripoff, Rude, Dishonest, Angry, Hot-Tempered, NO Professionalism, SCAM! BEWARE Brooklyn New York Brooklyn New York

I was searching online on 5/23/05 for digital Sony DCR-DVD403 Handycam camcorder. Wawadigital.net showed to have the lowest price for the camera. I proceeded to order the camcorder checkout.

I entered all of my shipping and ordering info and I got a confirmation stating to call 866-722-7209 asap to confirm my order otherwise it will NOT be processed. I thought this was a little weird because I have never heard of such a thing when I bought something online. It was late at night, but I called anyway.

An answering machine came on stating "Starlight Camera and Video....". As soon as I hung up the phone it rang and it was a man from the company he asked for my order number, and name and told me that the camcorder I was buying was an excellent choice but he noticed that I didnt order any additional items that were needed to operate the camcorder.

I told him that I didnt need them because someone else was buying them for me. Well, after I said "No thank you, I dont need them." He said, "NO THANK YOU! YOUR ORDER IS CANCELLED!!" I told him that I didnt understand and asked him "why?" and he said, "THERE IS NOTHING TO UNDERSTAND, YOUR ORDER IS CANCELLED!" and then hung up the phone.

So, I am monitoring my credit card and so it my credit company, but whatever you do, do NOT buy anything from these guys. They are rude, scary, horrible rip-off scam artists.
