Per their website, I ordered a people search for $2.95, supposedly a special--My son put it on his credit card. The service was useless. His card was charged $10., the amt. they claimed I would have a credit for. The 'trial' membership was cancelled immediately. I paid my son the overcharge and thought, lesson learned - Wrong!

They have since charged $40.00 two times min. without authorization. I even kept copy of cancellation info, dates, etc. His bank refuses to refuse any more charges or demand repayment of nonexistent membership. He now is very angry with me. This is clear out and out fraud! Calling them or emailing them brings no response. I am new to the internet and I blamed myself even though as a retired paralegal I was very careful to detail all records. However, I find it is not isolated.

I haven't found an honest people search online and find it disgusting. Is there no way to stop innocent people being defrauded like this? I can't afford, nor should I have to, pay unauthorized chgs. like this, nor should my son suffer for it. I'm in very ill health and it has been very detrimental all the way around. Did I step into the twilight zone or what? How do I stop this fraud??

Everyone needs to be made more aware of this type of fraud and the companies that perpetrate it. Does a person's right to fair and honest dealings end when they enter 'the Internet Zone"? Neither my heart nor my bank account can take the stress!
