webuyanycar.com ridiculous offer Elmwood Park New Jersey

I initially called webuyanycar.com and was verbally quoted 12,000 dollars as a starting point for my 2003 H2 Hummer. Meanwhile when I run Kelly Blue Book the value comes closer to 14,000. I guess i shouldv'e known right there that they were lowball ripoff artists. I had already been offered by Vroom $7,500 and would have sold it to the except for the fact that its under my wifes name and she no longer drives so never renewed her license and they needed that to make the deal. Well after an exhaustive inspection...(even taking info on the paint thickness..!!)

I went into their office with Wadoo (his name) and after another 15 mins. or so he offers me 4.000 dollars. Now to be fair the air ride suspension needed work and he said a code came up that there was a combustion issue. I had the vehicle inspected a few months back so i don't know what that could be. The Hummer runs fine and other than some minor damages, it is a sound vehicle. I listed it on craigslist for 8,500. The first day was offered 8,000. So just beware that the Elmwood Park office will lowball the h*** out of ya.!!
