wellsfargo mortgage flood insurance forced flood insurance Nationwide

I recently noticed that Wells Fargo Mortgage co, took almost 500 dollars from my escrow account. I called and ask about it and it was for flood insurance. I told them that I already have flood insurance, which is 250,000 coverage and I only owe 97,000.

They said they would review my records if I would fax a copy of my policy to them, which I did. I called back 10 days later as instructed, and learned that my claim for a refund was denied, I ask why and the woman said she was not sure why, because she had a copy of my insurance and for the dates that the insurance was placed on my account ,it does show that I did have coverage. She said she would resubmit my request for a refund.

Now the reason the insurance was placed on my account is because Wellsfargo on Jan 15th sent the payment to the wrong address, and on Jan16th, send a second payment to the wrongvaddress yet again. which mademy funds in escrow low, so I also had to mail in 238.00 to my escrow account otherwise my payments would increase.

I plan on calling back and see what excuse they will use next.
