Wendy's in Garden Grove On Chapman, Subpar and Re-cooked food; No response to complaint Garden Grove California

My husband and I went to the Wendy's fast food outlet on Chapman in Garden Grove. We ordered a #1 combo with a coke and a #6 combo with a diet coke, upgraded to a medium. This was on June 28, 2008. When we got our food at the drive-thur window, I took a french fry and found the fries to be soggy and old. I asked for "Fresh" fries and we would wait. What we got were the same fries that had been put back in the fryer to warm them up! Both sodas were light on syrup (watery) and the bun on my burger was 1/2 soggy.

We spent $11.93 for that so-called meal. I sent a very detailed email to Wendys.com and received absolutely no response. So over a month later on August 1, 2008, we called the customer service line and spoke with Michelle. She took all the information down, and said she would pass the information along. It is now August 23, 2008, and we have yet to receive any sort of phone call or letter from Wendy's regarding our very poor experience. I still have the receipt with all my notes on the meal taped to my computer.

The corporate yahoos don't give a rats *ss about the quality and service at their stores anymore, obviously. I know I did everything in my power to help patrons when I worked in fast food for 3 years in high school as a shift manager. I know what it takes to make people feel good about coming to my establishment, and how to encourage them to want to come back. This Wendy's store and the corporate machine obviously do not!!! I won't be going back to that Wendy's or any other one until they make it right, that is for sure.
