Werner International Enterprises Inc Pat Kelly Another Church in a long line of churches and companies rpped-off!!! Baltimore, Maryland

I was contacted,by phone, by a salesman from Werner International Inc. wanting to update the inventory they had with us on file. He went through about 3-5 minutes of telling me what we use and me confirming it. At the end of the call he asked if he could send a small order of bulbs to keep our inventory updated. I made the mistake of not verifying exactly what he was sending. I said go ahead.

 I was then contacted by the wharehouse supervisor to confirm my address. At that time I asked him what he was sending and how much the order cost. I was told that he did not have that information and the salesman was gone for the day but I would be contacted the next day to verify the order.I was not contacted and 1-2 weeks later I received an order of 15 bulbs that I could have bought at home depot for $3.00. I thought the number of bulbs was excessive, but, figuring that they were only $3-5 a piece I let it go.

 About a week later I received the bill. To my astonishment it was $479.00 plus $19.90 for shipping! I immediately got on the phone, left a message with Pat Kelly to take us off of his list of contacts and to contact me so I could send them back. I was very angry, and upset about trusting this company to do what they said they would do.When Pat Kelly called me we had a heated discussion to say the least. I was told by him that in no way was he taking the bulbs back and that he would take legal action if I didn't pay him. I contacted the Conn. Consumer protection agency and the Maryland Consumer protection agency. I filed a complaint in Maryland but have not heard back from them.

 I have since then found that there are several churches and companies whom are in the same situation as I am. There has got to be a legal way to take care of this company so they can not do this again in the future.
Stay away from Werner International Enterprises Inc. and Pat Kelly!
They are dishonest and cannot be TRUSTED!!!
