`Went to West valley auto because I needed a car. I found a Mini Van there and I thought how perfect. I had put down a few thousand dollars on this van. and drove away in my new car. well the excitment didnt last very long as 2 days later the car broke down along side a freeway. in my car were me, my son, and my 4 year old neice. called west valley auto. 4 hours later they came and got us. fixed the car. the very next week. car broke down again, and again, and again. needless to say I had the car for almost 3 month's and was only able to drive it 3 1/2 weeks durring that whole time. the last draw was when my breaks went out and they refused to fix them, even though there was supposibly a warranty on the car. This resulted in a voluntary Repo, as I cant afford to pay for a car I cant drive. when Im now having to rent a car just to get around. well these slimy people, turned around and sued me for early termination of a contract, repo, and lets not forget the wear and mechanical issues on the car. Now I have this ignorant attorney telling me he is going to garnish my wages to the sum of $500 a check to pay for there bull crap charges. as my title said. Single Parent making barely above minimum wage. disabled child (etc). I have rent, and other responsibilities. but these guys love screwing people and would love to see me and my kids on the street so they can collect there money.

That you got anything.
If you read the "Contract of Carriage" which is basically the terms and conditions of your flight you will find a section on their liabilty for checked bags. You will see that you are limited to a very small amount of compensation and it specifically excludes the more valuable items such as electronics. Oh..and EVERY air carrier has these same terms. This is why it is always suggeted to keep those items with you..yes even if it would cost you $5 more.
The fact is that you have zero proof that SPIRIT had anything to do with this. Just at the airport there may be 2-3 different groups that touch the luggage. This includes the Spirit Employees when you check it in, but from there it gores through TSA, from there is may or may not go back to Spirit or another outside contractor. Not only that but on the arrival you have another set of employees that may or may work for Spirit. This is not even to mention if your bag was ever out of your site from the Hotel, or any shuttles you may have taken. There is even a possibility that you didn't get to the baggage claim fast enough and another person got to your bag..took a couple of quick items and put your bag back on the belt before you even saw it.
Also, I would put doubts into your claim that a 3 Year Old Baseball glove was in "mint" condition. The only way it would be in mint condition is if you didn't use it, but then if you didn't use it why would you pack it in your Carry-On for a trip? It just doesn't make sense. Also, I would understand about having the receipts for the camera, but for a 3 Year Old glove?
Not sure what you think is equitable, but if you think you are going to get anything close to the full value of the Camera and Glove..you are going to be very disapointed.
