About 15 years ago a Phoenix police officer had my car towed by Western Towing to their tow yard.  When I went to get my car out of impound the man at the tow comapny tole me I needed $400.  I got $400 and went back to get my car when I tried to give the man at Western towing the $400 he told me that I needed $100 more.  I left and returned to Wester towing the next day with $500 and the title.  This time the man at Western Towing told me that they had filed for abandonded vehicle on my car and it was no longer mine.  I didn't know anything about abandoned vehicle laws so I thought that Western towing could somehow do that.  I was a single mother with nobody to help me out or explain to me that what Western Towing was doing was illegal. By the time I figured it out my car was gone but I have never forgotten this.  I suffered hardships by not having transportation to work and had nightmares about my car for years after this happened.  I still have the title to the car.  It was my car and they stole it from me.  It was a 1972 SS Nova.  They should be prosectued for grand theft auto and closed down  `

A policeman had my car towed and this is the company that towed it. When I went to the tow yard to get my 1972 SS Nova out of tow the man at Western towing told me it would be $400 I got $400 dollars and went back to get my car and he told me that it was $500 dollars. The next day I came back with $500 and the title and he told me they had filed for abandoned vehicle on my car and it was no longer mine. I didn't know the laws so I thought they could do that but later came to find out they couldn't by then it was too late my car was gone. I was a single mother and that was my only form of transportation. I suffered nightmares about my car for years after this happened. I could never find my car and I have never forgot and that is still my car I still have the title and I want it back.
