Wex Bank Lukoil Outrages late fee was charged, again, to our fuel account. For a purchase of ,$86.64,  the late fee was ,$39.00. Lukoil statement indicates 2.249% late monthly fee should be charged. Internet

This is not the first time that Lukoil (Wex Bank) Fleet Services charged us a late fee. We discontinued duing business with them after this one.

The company normal practise is to enter payment day or two after due date and charge late fee.  On $86.64 purchase the fee was $39.00. I am mailing checks since 1986 for my company and only Lukoil Wex Bank gives me trouble (sorry and Verizon). On invoice/statement they indicate that the late fee is determined by applying a monthly periodic rate of 2.249% annually 26.99%.

When you call them they will cancel the fee (becaouse it is an illegal practise) and 12 months later charge you again .

Similar to what Verizon is doing.

Boycott this company. They will discontinue business without your help.
