White Star Movers Worst Moving Experience Ever!! Sterling Heights, Michigan

I moved last year to Florida and decided to use White Star Movers.  I thought that since they are a Mayflower agent, they would do a good job.  It was pretty short notice and was informed from Joann that they could handle it and accommodate the time frame I needed because of my new job.  After agreeing to go with them, it was almost impossible to get ahold of Joann.  Her cell phone number is not on her card and the office always sent me to her voicemail.  When the movers showed up, one of them smelled so bad of marijuana that I think I got a contact buzz.  They were very slow and were very inexperienced.  I have moved several times over the last 15 years (using professional movers 5 or 6 times).  I THOUGHT I hired professionals this time too.  Boy, was I wrong.  Since this one was on my own dime, I wanted to use someone that was reasonably priced.  The movers used very foul language when they didn't think I could hear them.  They did not meet the dates that I needed.   I didn't have the items that I needed for my job. 

Since the move, I have spoken to a handful of people that said they would never have used White Star to begin with.  I was originally reluctant to post a negative review. The poor customer service from beginning to end and the awful quality of movers that I had made it very evident that I need to warn people about this terrible company. 

Stay away from White Star Movers!  They are not reliable and don't care about their customers.
