In August of 2011 my wife and I were promised amazing discounts to the best accommodations around the world.  Travel was touted as deep discounted below whatever anyone else could offer.  We were to be able to book rooms in castles in Europe for less than $200.00 a night.  Since we were retiring and planning on traveling a lot, this seemed like an attractive offer. (First, rule when dealing with people who want your money - If it seems too good to be true, it is too good to be true!)  We finally agreed to "invest $5,196" in hopes of enjoying places we would not usually be able to afford. 

Our first exposure was booking a hotel just a few months after "joining" and once we registered at the hotel we were told that the price would have been much cheaper if we had contacted the hotel dorect.  It was at that time we began looking at other options and were disappointed - to say the least.  Since we had in hand an Official Five Year Peace of Mind certificate that said if Wholesale Escapes cannot save you and your family the cost of this program, we (Wholesale Escapes) will refund the difference back to you.  Wow.  Now our second mistake, we counted on this Peace of Mind Certificate and dutyfully paid our Annual Maintenance fees of  $159.  So now we are out a total of $6,309.  

I read on the internet that RSI Vacations now owns Wholesale Escapes but when I contacted Denise at RSI Vacations (843-732-3844) I was told that Wholesale Escapes no longer exists.  However, since I am a member of this Wholsale Escapes she can book any travel needs I might have by accessing the Wholesale Escapes website.  I don't want travel bookings, I want Wholesale Escapes to honor their Five Year Peace of Mind Plan and return my investment of $6,309.

I know that I am not alone in suffering losses by these sharks.  I am very interested in finding if there is any legal recourse available.  I would delight in huling these theives into court for justice.
