Wholesale Marketer, Doba ripoff Orem Utah

Beware. Wholesale Marketer has changed their name to Doba.
I signed up for their FREE TRIAL on 1/8/06. After doing an hour of comparison pricing on the internet I realized immediately that their products and services were not for me. I could not reach them by phone so I immediately sent an email to their Support cancelling my Trial (on 1/8/08). Yet they billed my credit card.

I tried again this week to contact them by phone but could only access their music recordings for 20 minutes at a time after which time I hung up. I emailed support again. No response. Finally, today, I called the 800 number listed on their new "Doba" site. I was informed that my cancellation email 1/08/06 was not valid because cancellations can only be done by phone. They refused to remove their charges. Expensive lesson learned. DO NOT provide your credit card information to any company for supposed FREE TRIALS.

As an honest and respected business woman who has conducted business on the internet for over four years, I find their tactics deplorable.
Hopefully, this report will help other trusting consumers.
