Just as many have reported, this is an automatic payment scam. wildgames offers a game for $7. The agreement looks normal, but somewhere included that you will be billed this amount monthly.

I downloaded a simple game - probably not even worth the $7. I made the mistake of giving them my credit card number to pay the $7. A month later:

"Hi! This is your receipt to show that we've sent more fun your way. We've added 50 WildCoins to your account for more uninterrupted play as agreed to with your plan. There is no need for you to do anything, well, other than keep playing and have fun."

Another $7. Fun?

"If you have any questions, please visit our Customer Support site at: http://support.wildgames.com/" No support, just more con! No phone number. During cancelling, there is a warning that I will owe them $70.

To stop paying them, I cancelled my credit card. They should be in jail. I went to this site from a link on my HP computer. It was supposed to be affiliated with HP somehow. HP should be in jail, too!

I complained to HP about this being installed on my computer as "HP Games." Their reply:

"I would like to inform you that WildTangent, Inc., the fastest growing online game property in the world, announced today that its gaming platform will be used to power the HP Games Console on new HP consumer Desktop and Notebook PCs shipped worldwide. This expansion of the existing relationship with HP will allow WildTangent to offer premium gaming options to HP PC customers around the world, planned to begin in January 2008. The HP Games Console, which features family-friendly parental controls, comes pre-installed with up to 30 of the most popular arcade, puzzle, card and enthusiast games from leading developers, including WildTangent Studios, PlayFirst, Sandlot, Popcap, Eidos and Vivendi Universal(1). Customers can browse the entire WildTangent game catalog of more than 400 titles, and purchase and download them directly through the HP Games Console(2), or by visiting http://hp.wildgames.com. HP alone represents a larger distribution platform for games than any next-generation gaming console in the world, said Alex St. John, chief executive officer of WildTangent."

The WildTangent Games Console ships directly on the desktops of leading PC manufacturers including Dell, HP, Gateway and Toshiba, representing more than 25 million new consumer PCs annually in North America."

They are proud to include this SCAM with their HP computers.
